What great food it was at the Chinese restaurant. I would love to get hold of the recipe for their hot & sour soup. Extraordinary!

2007 was about 3/4 full. Two tables of Chinese came in and became very round eyed at all the round eyes. I've noticed a few Koreans there, and that's saying a lot about a Chinese restaurant.
It's also one of the only times you'll ever see Bossy Ellen in a Mosh Pit with a silly smile on her face. Vewey scawey.

OK Sign Ups for the Chinese Dinner and Limo Extravaganza are now open!
The limo tickets are $20 per person. This will get you transportation to and from the restaurant. We will have one limo leaving the restaurant earlier for those with early classes the next day, and we will probably stop at several hotels on the return.
Once at the restaurant, we sit at round tables of approximately 8 people. Everyone orders what they like and gets first helpings, then the food goes on a lazy susan for all to share. Need/want more food? Order more! Same for drinks. At the end of the evening, the restaurant will add up the total for the table and include a gratuity on the check. I ask that you round up to a number easily divisible by the number of people at the table and that is your share. Please-none of "but you had two beers and I only had egg rolls." Everyone at the table splits the bill evenly. If this won't work for you, please do not come.
In all of the years of doing this, the most expensive table was about $22 per person (including drinks/tip) and no one has ever left hungry. The average is about $16-18 per person, which for Las Vegas, is a great deal.
I also ask that shops/couples sit at different tables or next to someone you don't know, this is a great networking opportunity. and we're a very friendly bunch.
So, please do not make "reservations" on-line.
Send your $20 (US) per person made payable to Rob Markoff. PLEASE include a self addressed and stamped envelope so I can mail you your tickets.
Please also include a note telling me who is coming (names). If you send me a check with just you shop name, I will not know who to add to the list (and we won't leave anyone behind,)

We will meet at 7:00 PM on Tuesday January 27th in the motor lobby of the Hilton. There will be at least two limos and the first may make a round trip so we aren't so squished.
For the return, a limo will leave and make a trip directly to the Hilton, then return for the next load and if necessary make a third round trip with alternate hotel stops on the last trip.
