Yes, it would have to be pass-through hinges though as the Lascaux hinges don't have great peel strength.
Brush Lascaux HV 360 (available from Talas, probably other places too) full strength onto Japanese paper which is lain on a sheet of polyethylene. Let dry. Repeat if necessary. The thinner the paper the more likely you will end up with something double sided (e. a tengujo tisse) which can be useful. For general use I use light and medium weight minogami or usa mino (Hiromi).
I make up a small amount at a time (e.g. 12' x 12') and keep it stored between poly sheeting. It will dry out and become less tacky with time. Don't forget to leave one end of the paper uncoated, so that you can cut strips and pull the paper off of the poly, otherwise you will have a hard time picking the poly and lascauxed paper apart.
If your prepared paper ends up double sided and you don't want it to be you can cover one side with fine tissue like tengujo.
Reversible with low heat, sparing amounts of polar solvents like acetone or ethanol.
