Did we ALL get a package from Japan today? I was SO surprised to find a sample of "Acid Free Washi Framing Tape" (2m) in my mailbox!!

I've seen Hugh refer to Washi tape, but what I received has "acrylic 'asid free' glue" on the back. I'm not sure this is what Hugh refers to.

Does anyone use it??

I didn't get any packages from Japan today. I assume this "acrylic glue" is self-adhesive? If so, I doubt it's what Hugh uses. Sounds like a self-stick version of Hyaku tape to me. It would probably be useful for hinging mats to backings and tasks like that.

P.S. I didn't have any exotic beverages served in a tropical hut either, so I guess this would be a case of "No Tiki, no Washi"

Washi, or handmade Japanese paper, is perfect for
hinging, as long as cooked starch paste is used
with it, as predicted.
