Warning !!!! from framer

Low lifes exist everywhere. This person could crawl under the belly of a snake wearing a tophat.

My guess is that someone is infected, and not doing it intentionally.

I have had this happen to me in the past. (angry calls from people claiming I sent them a virus, but on further investigation the IP address inside the email was from another state to someone I emailed in the past)

Many of todays infections will take email addresses from your contact list and computer and then send itself to others, spoofing the FROM: and TO: fields randomly with what it finds. This makes it much harder to track the true source, and to inform them.

No one should be on the internet without current a/v protection, for the above reasons. Not only will it take your computer down, but it will try spreading to your relatives and business associates too. (anyone in the contact list)

The people who make these things are wasting a lot of talent, imo.

So, is there a way to know if this an anomoly of a circulating virus, or if it is an intentional attack specifically on The Grumble?

Sure. I can evaluate one of the messages and likely tell you the source city and which virus the person has.

If you received one, email privately and we can work out the details.

I prefer Norton's basic product for a/v and Ad-Aware's free product for Spyware/Adware.
