Have a Phaedra system, but all the clamps got lost in a move. If anyone has a set, I'd be interested in purchasing them. Call me at 860.940.9262 or pm.Thanks

The horizontal "Q" clamps or the vertical ones?

Looking for both. Thanks.

Still looking.

Paul: I have a set I don't use. They came with a package I bought on the G. I don't want to sell them yet, because I'm sure someone will point out that I should be using them. So far, my corners are good.

What am I doing wrong?

You're procrastinating. :)

Honestly, I would be certain you don't need them before getting rid of them, especially for aluminum frames. I figured someone has a system they don't use, or the saw died.

Paul: the aluminum moldings are cut on a different setup, and they are clamped. Only the wood and plastics are not.

This is a good question: who clamps/does not clamp wood?

My Phaedra set up is used primarily for metal frames, but I do cut an occasional wood frame. I use both clamps on the initial cut, feeding from right to left, mainly because the saw motor housing is on the right side and restricts use of hands to hold the stock. I usually use my left hand to hold the stock against the fence for the second cut except with the larger profile metals. That said, I don't think I've cut more than a handful of metal frames in the past two years. The Phaedra is used more for construction projects than picture framing.

I mostly always use clamps, except when I'm feeling lazy, or in a rush. Then, my hands become the clamps.

Hey Paul - I got the clamps if you still need them. Phone #763-242-2244. Joe

Thanks Joe, but I reached agreement with another Grumbler yesterday. Do you have the front clamps (Quadrant?) by any chance? I could use those too.

Paul, I don't know for sure what the Quadrant clamp is. Is it the rod on front that forces the moulding to the back of the table or the upper clamp that hold the moulding down on the table? I believe I have both but would have to check for sure about the front rod style one.

I lost the sliding measuring stop for a Phaedra in a move - anyone have one of those they would like to sell?

Paul - I responded to your PM - sorry it took so long and I mistakenly thought you were looking for the top slide too - I also have 1 of those so I will have to respond to the other post too. Your offer sounds great. Joe
