Talk about worrying over trivia: why are the WB hooks not "deeper"? You probably think they're fine, but I had a customer come back and say her pix kept getting knocked off the hooks from the bottom. (Probably kids playing tackle down the hall.)

Seems there's a scant 1/4" of "hanging" space on the hook. Is this an angel-on-a-pinhead thing from this corner? (Not that I can do anything about it anyway
)

Despite what some may think, please don't ever feel your questions are trivia!!! If we get into that mode on this wonderful forum, it would be to everyone's disadvantage. That is because, MANY great discussions and discoveries come out of what some may think is a "dumb question" or "trivial question". No one should feel so empowered as to judge what is worthy of discussing - after all, if someone is disturbed about the topic, they have every right to not read it!! It's just that simple.

I believe Darrell designed the WallBuddies - hopefully he'll respond to this as it raises a good point.

Yes he did, Sherry, and he did a great job. I tried to get him to design BabyBuddies but...
Maybe he will read this and reply, but it could easily be "What on earth is the matter with you, you nut?"

Meantime, I guess I'll ask the lady to keep her kids in check as that kind of roughhouse would knock anything off the wall.

Since Darrell hasn't shown up, I'll give it a try ...

Notice that the nail for the WB hooks goes through the end of the hook before going into the wall ... This gives added support and increases their strength considerably over more traditional hooks of the same size. In traditional hooks the "hook" part must support all the weight. With the WB hooks the weight is born by both together.

If they are getting "bumped" off (what height are they at!) add a security t-bolt and plate to the bottom, or slightly less drastic ... put a screw in the wall with a big washer and hook the WB over the washer.
