I am doing a sports jersey in a frame only 3/8" thick (146790.LJ, Gramercy). (34 * 37") I suspect wall buddies will work better than Super Steel. Do they work on such a thin frame?

thanks,
Karl.

Yes predrill your screw holes.

If it is heavy I would also consider angle plates in the lower corners also.
or
If you can consider screwing a sheet of 1/8" plywood or sintra on the entire back that would also strengthen the whole package.

I agree. Wallbuddies should be fine.
The Fletcher hanging system would also work well.

I would suggest adding a strainer frame to the inside of this. The strainer should be pocket screwed in place and then any form of hanging would be able to be used. IMO that moulding is to small for that size job without a strainer.

It probably would be a good idea to attach the hanging hardware to the strainer or sturdy board you are using to reinforce that tiny-profile frame.

Or, if you're not planning to reinforce that frame, don't bother with hanging hardware. Or fitting, for that matter. Just throw the frame parts on the floor, which is where they would soon end up, anyway.
