Curvy, shaped opening and v-groove accent the quirky design of this vintage menu. The opening is a combination of rectangle at the bottom and kobe corners at the top, merged with an oval at the top center. The curvy v-groove is actually the "dog bone" cut art stretched to the desired proportions and set to cut as a groove.

Great job, Rick. I like the way the mat opening mimics the curves and straight lines of the menu design and the v-grooves do a nice job of accenting the blue coloured loops on the menu. Subtle, but not over the top.

Thanks. I spent some time fiddling with different ornamental accent possibilities, but settled on this simpler approach because there's already a lot going on in the menu itself.
