Question Valiani MATPRO 150 Connection Error

Hi, I have a Valiani MATPRO 150 and was working very well but now I cannot connected to the PC I try these options:
-Change serial to serial USB Cable
-Uninstall and Install the program
-Change a new PC

And I had multiple error messages
-First was Serial Error: cannot find the device
-Then Was Error transmision - Reception "Errore di ricetrasmissione"

And when try to run a diagnostic program the pc is blocked

So I think is the MatPro 150 is blocked or something with the machine

when did you upgrade your software last?
I have the same machine and a year ago, I started asking for the serial number but not getting anywhere. I did upgrade

Later I found that replacing the battery in the power pack/mother board might have done the trick (I do love the new software though)
The battery you need is a CR2450N (apparently the 'N' is important)

Older ones like that did have the battery issue. For our 3 or 4 year old Ultra BC, if the controller gets confused we reset the power 3x in a row to reset it.

oh that make sense, then if I change the battery an reset the controller maybe will work ? the battery where is it ? is easy to change?

Have you tried talking with tech support? This may be a good first step, IMO. If the battery ISNT dead, removing it will likely clear out the license # and disable the software. I wouldn't do that unless they advise you to do so, or are there to get it re established if that IS the issue.

I would try the controller reset (3x) trick before anything else :)

Yes, I try but with not much success. They said that is the cable and nothing else because said cannot connect.

The trick to reset who is? just turn and off 3 times fasted?

Yes. I would also try removing the USB wire from the pc, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. This will cause Windows to re-detect it. (in case the issue is on the Windows side, due to a recent update)

I remember it as not being all too difficult but it's been a while. There might be some youtube videos on it
