Question vacuseal problem

My vacuseal has recently become a little finicky. It won't work unless it is a higher temperature like 200 vs 160. Does it just need to heat up the diaphram? I preheat it to the correct temp, but it wants it higher to work. It got a new diaphram 2 years ago Thanks Mona
