Vacuseal 4468H Foam seal

Curious. Did you price them at D&K?
I got a set within the last year, and I don't remember the price being that high, but maybe I've become numb to sticker shock.

Sticker Shock LOL! Yes, they are great people at D&K... however, all 4 would be a little over $200. Crazy me I stripped the old seal off and threw it away, some years back, and now I don't even have the dimensions to order it from a custom foam supplier I found.

My suggestion is to buy the D&K replacement seals, which fit perfectly and will last for decades. Their foam product is designed to withstand the heat and extreme pressure inflicted by a vacuum press. And if you can get them $200, that would be a very good deal. Here are the current prices:

DK-203000 Foam Strip Front/Back Each - Long (need 2) (TS2205045) $55.69
DK-203010 Foam Strip Sides Each - Short (need 2) (TS2205046) $53.17

Cheaper foam may compress too much or not enough, and it may deteriorate sooner than expected. Been there, done that.

I just got my foam pieces from D&K. Didn't come with instructions. Anyone know where if there are any?

Wendy can walk you through it.
You basically have to remove all the old foam and as much of the residual adhesive as possible (solvents and scraping), then install the new strips with a specific 3M transfer tape*.
I've done this 3X with my 4366M-HS and it's not fun, but that was over about 36 years of operation. It's almost due again, but I'm playing chicken with it to see which one of us gives out first.
Remember to adjust the lid setting after the new foam is securely in place.

*Wendy and Jim Miller both know this product. Wendy knows where best to buy it. Jim may as well.

Here are the directions from D&K:

You will need to use a high-temperature-tolerant double sided tape. D&K recommends this one:

You'll need to re-adjust the lid hinge. If you don't have the lid hinge adjustment instructions, let me know.
