WTB: V-Nails for Fletcher 5000

I am looking for v-nails for the fletcher 5000 underpinner.
(I know it is an outdated machine but I love it and have been using it for many many years.

I haven't had any problems with it except for replacing the cable a time or two or three. BTW: It is the ole FOOT STOMPER TYPE.

Fletcher no longer supports this machine with v-nails or parts.

V-nails from other machines that use a cartridge my work. I don't know.

ANY IDEAS out there in Grunble land.

Framing Supplies Company no longer has the v-nails for the Fletcher F-5000 or F-5100.

They will not be getting anymore of them.

Does anyone know of another supplier??

LJ in Australia have them in there catalogue perhaps you could get some from them, it’s worth checking.

Have you tried contacting Fletcher? I know they've discontinued them but they **might** give you the name of the place that made them for them. Specs. Anything.

Mark Eaton has some connections with some places that make blades. Maybe he'd know a place who would be willing to make v-nails, too.

Talked to Fletcher yesterday. Nice folks. Inmes made v-nails for them. Thats all they had to offer.

That is the right type v-nail but I never use the 3/16".

The smallest I use are 3/8"

Your are probably right. Wish I could find him.

I know my machine is outdated but it still does what I need it to do.
Don't mind buying a new underpinner but it seems a waste to throw this one away.
