I know, I know they pulled down their slate a few years ago.

So I stocked up on my v-nails, years ago. And now I am nearly out.
My supplier in Lauderdale is hunting up a nail that will work well with it.

I know zero about other v-nailers as this tank is all I have ever used for years.
And I love it, no noise in my delicate ladies shop, I can jump up and down on it, heck I can park a Winnebago on it it is so solid.

Substitutions? Thoughts?
I really do not want to buy a new v-nailer right now!

Re: V-Nails for an anciet Pistorious

A day late..............

Really. I was at an auction for a frame shop that has closed and their nailer was a Pistorious Vn-II or something like that. They sold that along with beaucoup nails for it.

Had I known, I could have gotten the auctioneer to auction the nails separately.

Thanks Larry, you are and always have been a peach!

Complete Framers Supply said no dice and would I like to buy a new nailer (Helene is hysterical), Engelson only sells long skinny stuff (Moulding) but put me on to United.

So if someone should ever query this search. http://www.unitedmfrscatalog.com/lg_display.cfm/page/1/catalog/V-Nails

They have a substitution.

I have had very good luck with the generic vnails for my ITW AMP from Decor moulding. They probably have a style to fit your machine.

Re: V-Nails for an anciet Pistorious

I have the Pistorius VNA-2, and have started using Decor's generic v-nails. The glue on the strip is on the opposite side, but they work fine. They're usually less than $20/box-- give them a try! :)

Re: V-Nails for an anciet Pistorious

I may have a sample strip of Decor V-nails. I will send it if you want to try them out. :)
Becky, this is why you are one of the best people on the Grumble.
It's all about the giving.
