At the WCAF we ordered a VN-2 from ITW Amp/ Valiani to replace the one that was lost in the fire. I found out yesterday it's indefinitely backordered. What are my alternatives?

See if there's one in stock from a Canadian dealer. Ask your supplier who they are.

While I now compete with ITW/AMP my first question would be why buy a VN-2 when a VN2+1/minigraf is the better machine as it has the rabbet clamp.
If you definitely want a VN2+1 check with M&M Distributors, Southern Moulding, Valley Moulding for stock.
If you wish to look at a different brand feel free to contact me.

Oops, checked my order again and it is the VN+2 min graf. Thanks for the suggestions. Going to be on the phone looking for another supplier.

Have you considered the VN 42. Their equipment will give you 20 or more years of service so the better model should be a serious consideration. It would be a bummer spending a decade or two wishing you had gone up a notch.

We had Chuck in on Wed installing and training on the Valiani. That is a one marvelous CMC. Mentioned the V-nailer and low and behold it shipped the next day. So Mississippi to Montana, we should see it Wed or so next week. Yeah. That's the last must have to get the frame shop back to speed. Hopefully, I can get the old orders done next week and move on. Amazingly enough new orders are coming in daily.
