I have been framing mirrors most of the day today.
These will go in a new house and will be mounted with Z-Bar.
One frame was too small for z-bar to work at bottom so I made a j-bar from aluminum by loose hemming 1/2" from edge. This will be mounted to wall at bottom of frame. The screws will go across top of j-bar. I have done this several times before and it works good down to about a 1 1/4" frame. Just use your regular z-bar on frame and on wall at top. Be sure to put screws high enough to clear frame mounted z-bar for easier install.
