Two guys in blue shirts & ties walks in and ask if I was interested in looking at Intuit's merchant CC processing. Since I had a very good experience with Quicken Loans the last time I got an Equity Line of Credit, I said yes.

They showed me how I would be paying less with them and they also told me that since I have Quickbooks Pro 2007, I can use it to do my CC processing.
I have SSS POS, PC Charge, a USB Magnetic Stripe reader & USB barcode Scanner and using PC Charge/Veriphone to process credit cards through the internet. I was thinking if I could use Quickbooks then I can get rid of PCCharge to save a little on the yearly software maintenance fee.

Does anyone use Quickbooks to process their CC payments through the internet? Pros/Cons? How is Intuit's (Innovative Merchant Solutions) customer service?
I'd like to keep POS & CC processing software & hardware to a minimum.

Thanks in advance,
Troy

This doesn't address your QB question but it will lessen the software/hardware issue that you describe. SSS has a working agreement with a broadband CC processor that integrates within their POS software. You won't have any software charges if you switch and the rate will lessthan or equal to your current rate. Give SSS a call and they will get the ball rolling.
