This is the famous Morso mitre trimmer machine, used by most framers in the UK, and by many of the better framers in the US. They are very reliable and long lasting - getting even better with use.
The foot powered cutting head is moved in and out using a lever. This allows you to 'eat' your way through mouldings in steps. Making multiple cuts, with your very last cut taking off a thin shaving, ensures perfect joins. No sawdust, and waste is minimized. Works even if the power goes off.
This older machine has been well cared for, and moves smoothly and easily. It comes with an extra set of new blades.
