I'm just curious to know what types of wax others of you are using on gilded (composition metal)frames. Is Liberon worth the cost when compared to a more common (cheaper!) wax such as Johnson paste wax. Can Liberon be heated and then tinted with powdered pigments?
Any comments and opinions are appreciated, John

Johnson and Staples are far cheaper and will last a decade or three. Both are fine carnuba wax that can be heated and tinted with many kinds of pigment.
