This is a weird post.

Do these exist?

1. An e-mail system that would send out an e-mail at a certain date in the future. Larry's note that there's an upcoming episode of How Its Made makes me want to e-mail myself today to remind me of this on the 16th. I don't want a calendar system, or anything but a reminder email.

2. An app that would enable me to record a string of Youtube music videos, to rock the shop with, when the customers are not here. Something like an old-time tape recorder.

Feb 16? DirecTV should already have the show in the guide to set a one episode timer. DishNetwork will have it in the guide tomorrow.

You should be able to set a series timer now on just about any DVR.

For an email reminder, just use Google Calendar and set up the event. You can then have a reminder sent as either an email or pop-up on your computer (or both) whenever you want the reminder to come up.

My website is also on a Google platform... its nothing fancy but it works great for me...

I use Google calendar for everything, too. Fantastic system. Not only does it do all of the above, but it also shows my pending appointments in a widget on the opening screen of the smartphone. It emails the morning of an event, to remind me, and texts me 30 mins before - with another reminder.
