Am I in a time warp or what? I thought every new topic looked familiar, and lo and behold every topic I've gone to is dated May 16th. Uh, isn't this the end of May. I mean, The Coke 600 is getting ready to run for pete's sake!

Is it just me? Is everyone else seeing what I'm seeing?

It's Sunday afternoon, I think I better just go back to sleep...

I look up to date.....is your computer set for the right date!!!......I'm not sure if that could be the fault!!!

...I make it the 30th of May

Now that's even weirder. I'm using my laptop, and the last time I was online with it was the 16th. However, my computer time and date is correct.

Hmmm.

Betty

I bet I just have stale cookies...

Doncha just hate it when that happens, Betty??

I hate getting mine broken into little crumbs! Makes it so terribly hard to enjoy life when you don't know if that's a chocolate chip or a .............. well, I digress.

You should be updated each time you log onto the Grumble, it seems. Maybe you ARE in a time warp. I hear that there has been alot of rain in the mid-belt and you know what water does to cookies.

Betty, that happens on my laptop as well. Hit the refresh button and it should take you to the current days page.

That happens to me when I use my browser "back" button. When I use the " Hop To:" buttons at the bottom of the page, it comes up correctly.

Only trouble I am having is with my computer at work. Those little yellow icons that show if a topic is active works fine on my home computer but at work, the yellow icon is lit up on all subjects, all the time.

If you log into the Grumble…(see near the top left of this page)…..it should make the yellow lights work like your computer at home…..I’m not sure if you can be logged into more than one computer at a time.

The yellow icons update when you exit Internet Explorer and reenter. They only keep track of "new" postings on each computer separately. If you read a thread at home, your work computer won't "know" that. If the yellow icons are not working correctly, you can go to your profile and delete all cookies. That should update that computer to current status.
