TRON Lightcycle - Yeah!

Hi guys,

Here's my latest carved mat artwork design: inspired by a Lightcycle from the recent TRON Legacy 3D movie.









It is a double layered mat. The top mat is carved out of Bainbridge Alphamat black core, black surface matboard, cut on the award-winning GUNNAR F1 Hybrid (of course!), using the new GUNNAR GMC software.

The bottom layer is actually an enhanced digital graphic, printed directly onto a Bainbridge UltraPrint matboard, through an Epson 9900 printer.

The logo is drawn directly onto the black top mat, using the "top secret" new GUNNAR T2 Scribe Pen Tool - with a simple silver ink pen.... no need to "change heads" or "change cartridges" either! - all automatic!

WOW!!!! That is really cool. Can I do that on my "Wizard 8000"????? Just kidding, Unfortunately, I won't be able to see the real thing, since I'll still be in Kansas while the show is going on I wondered if you could send it to me right after the show, so I could see it for real. Send it COD. Your artwork is really neat! But why do I get the feeling I'm watching a commercial? It's really a nice work of art, Jared. Two things, I'll see you at,WCAF 2012, and.......GOBEARS!!!!!!
