Transferring Client Base in LifeSaver.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in attempting to transfer data from one POS to another. Is it possible to download your client base from a previously existing POS into LifeSaver to save yourself from having to reenter all of your established customers?

Any information would be appreciated.

Hello

LifeSaver tech support can do this for you, from almost any other popular competing product. I believe they do it via the internet. You may want to give them a ring at 800-381-0600.

In most cases, the client list and account totals can be brought in with no problem. You'll probably want to keep the old program dormant on the PC for a while, just in case you want to look up the details from an old order. From the conversion day forward, all the new orders go into Lifesaver.

As far as gift item and art inventory, these can also be converted. (this you can do yourself, and it's in the "LifeSaver 50 tips and tricks" thread in this forum)

I know it can be overwhelming when switching to a new product, so hop into the chat room any time you have a quick question. There are many folks there with LifeSaver, and probably your old program too.
