Toronto ABC in May

Orton,

I'll be there...........Look forward to meeting you!

I'm teaching a workshop on Friday morning, but how about a "Grumbler's Gathering" on Saturday evening, at the "Meet the Artists" event?

John

Hi Orton,

Have you seen anywhere what art dealers are coming in for the show. They are not listed on my brochure?

Greetings:

Looks like this is going to be a "Fun" show. "The Meet the Artists" Reception is scheduled from 6-7pm on Saturday, May 6th. For further information on the list of Exhibitors, and how to register on line, go to: www.ArtBuyersCaravan-Toronto

If any are interested, I'll be instructing a workshop Advanced Mat Cutting: Inlays, V-grooves and Offset Corners on Friday morning, May 5th from 8-11am.

A load of other workshops and seminars are also being offered. For details go to: www.ppfa.Education Instructors include: Vivian Kistler, Dennis Tilly, Reginald Warkentin, Kaye Evans, David Quattlebaum and Stuart Altschuler and Cathy Clatworthy-Tilly.

Let's talk about a Grumbler's gathering at the Meeting the Aritist's reception?

John

I think John has the best idea of a gathering Saturday night right after the "Artist's Reception". At least everyone could move on from there. (ArtLady, too bad you're not coming in until Sunday ... sure you can't make it any earlier?)

This one is a little to far for Marie and I but even though we aren't there be sure to take Photos and post them for us to see. It is so nice to have faces to attach to names ,even if they are screen names.

If you're interested...PPFA's Ontario chapter will be hosting a meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, in the Alberta Room at the Toronto Airport Marriott, 901 Dixon Road. Refreshments will be provided.

If you're a PPFA member or would just like to see what a PPFA chapter meeting is all about, you're invited to attend.

PPFA's Executive Director, Julie Freeman, along with a number of PPFA's board memebers will be there. Hope to see you, too!

Sunday Night in Toronto!

Just packing and getting ready to head home after two weeks on the road. Have to say, that I was glad to see a good show happen in Toronto. Talking to many vendors who said it was a good show, and I understand that ABC is coming back again next year. I also understand that several vendors that "walked the show" have inquired about booth space for next year's show.

Sorry I missed you Orton.....stopped by Reg's booth several times, but didn't see you. Met up with the Art Lady on Sunday anyway and had lunch together.

For those Grumblers not there.....remember Toronto for next year....."The Meeting Place".

I enjoyed the show, even though I didn't make it to any classes this time. Good to meet you, John. Hope there is another next year, so I can be more prepared and take as many workshops as possible. Orton, sorry I missed you, but I only got there on Sunday and Reg said you were there Saturday.

Sorry I missed so many of you even though I ran into a goodly number while just cruising the aisles. It was hard to go any where without having someone say hello. Yup, there is always next year. Meeting at Reg's booth was a good move.
