I'm throwing this out for your consideration.

I'm thinking that we might add a new section (a section being Warped, Commercial, etc) to the Grumble called "Reference Materials" or something like that. The only things allowed in the section would be sticky threads (maybe only postable by the mods?) containing links to reference materials.

My new manuals page, Mike's pages on CMC's and other framing references like this would be the sole perview of this section.

I have occasionally wanted to look at Mike's stuff but it takes me forever to find it. My manuals pages is now up to 72 manuals but the only way to find it is by searching a number of threads to find the link.

What do you think? Is a new section warranted for framing reference links or should everyone continue to do searches (sometimes lengthy) to find them?

Maybe those could be incorporated into the "Tips of the Picture Framing Trade" forum, since that is one of the least frequently posted-to sections already. It could use more traffic. And after all, this info actually IS a "tip of the picture framing trade".

Not just yes; but OH HECK YES!

An instant reference manual library
How-to library
Definition library
and a billion other stuff.....

it would be everything PPFA library, PFM & DECOR past article references libraries
tried to be.... but weren't. Especially if it's "searchable".... and wasn't selectively
deleted for political reasons, or because the organization disappeared.

I vote "yes"!

I think this make since and maybe just add a discription to that forum describing that such contents is posted there. I agree that perhaps it would be good at mods discretion to make them sticky.
