Thought I'd share Roma's new blog entry.

Someone needs to lead my sales rep to my door. He's been in place for nearly a year now and based on an email he sent out seems to expect his clients to drive to Atlanta to see samples in the showroom. As if.
 
Ya know, I have been a Roma customer for 18 years. Why do I care about his internal policies and culture? I don't. I just want good service and products, which I have always received.

The rest is marketing BS.

IMO.
 
I think Roma has some wonderful moulding, and I love the price points on their Simply Roma line.

The one issue I have with Roma is that, to my knowledge, they have no women in supervisory or manager positions.

Maybe now that they got rid of all of their managers, and replacing them with leaders, there will be room for some women there now.. That would be forward thinking!

And if I am wrong, please let me know.

Thanks for the update Randy!

I was told by what I thought was a reliable source, that they had female sales reps, but that was as high up as women went in their company.

I am a strong believer of the best person for the job, male or female. But if any company is exclusive in either, I believe that is wrong.

I am glad that I was wrong, and i will no longer be reluctant to Roma to certain customers.
 
This thread was moved to commercial area as it links to a portal web site for a commercial company.

This was IMHO close to spam.

If you link to important info on a company website and want to post a link you need to be specific to page and story.

When I posted this back in August of last year, the link went directly to a Roma video blog entry.

They have since changed their site format and the page and video have been moved.

I have no past or present intention of spamming the Grumble.
