The Sunshine State PPFA Chapter is having it's annual state meeting/competition judging/CPF exam/officer election this coming October 17-18 at the Orlando Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center-- www.gaylordhotels.com just outside of Disney(EXIT 65).
This year, in addition to the 'normal' meeting agenda when we elect new officers, award the state’s competition winners, eat some good food, and generally have a great time……..we decided we needed to add 1 day to the schedule and then add a couple of classes to that, PLUS have a vendor 'trade show' on top of that!!!!!!!!!!! currently we have the following vendors attending: AMPF, APF Munn, Valiani CMC, Attach-Ez, Complete Framers, Engelsen Moulding, Fotiou Moulding, Larson Juhl, Max Moulding, Omega Moulding, Roma Moulding, Studio Moulding, University Products-Lineco, Wizard International CMC....and the list is still growing!
Now that you can't go to Atlanta how about coming to Orlando????? Grab the kids/grandkids; send them to see the magic mouse (5 min away) while you get to enjoy the trade show!!! As a deeelightfull bonus to those joining us we have negotiated a tremendous deal !!!!!!!!! Your entire stay (whether 1 night or all week long) will be at our magic convention rate of $99 per night !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (that’s considerably less than the $240+ normal in-season rate). You only need tell the reservations desk the magic password when you reserve your rooms!!! 1 night’s stay pays for your attendance!
The vendors are doing their part, the board is trying to do their part in putting this show together. . .now it's up to all the framers in the South East(& especially those of us in Florida) to do their part(AND COME SUPPORT US!!!!--please???). Check our chapter's website for class application forms and most current information on activities. Questions/concerns/just want to talk??? call Bill or Genia 813-238-8018.
