I love it! I was almost apoplectic yesterday and started going through withdrawl when it still wasn't up last night. But all is well now, I have my Grumble back. And I'm thrilled to have the instant UBB code!
 
Great job Bill, I'm wondering though, if you are going to get a spell check program. My ninth grade education is in dire need of such a device. I know I don't want every one to know I didn't finish high school, so please keep this post quiet, I appreciate it.

I was confused when I went to the site at first, but then I am easily confused.
It looks like some great new features have been added for some of us less computer savvy grumblers.

New is good. I was pleased before, but this is even better. I have recommended this site to quite a few of my contacts in the industry, i.e. slaes reps... They really need to stay in touch with us framers, hence better service from our suppliers. Thanks.

One of the very few glitches I've noticed on this new version of TG is that URL links on the main Grumble forum don't look like links - don't appear underlined - until you pass the mouse curser over them. On Warped and the other forums I've used URL links, they look like links.

Also, I find it curious, but not a problem, that the profiles icon above individual posts is different on the techi forum than it is on the other forums.

There is a great deal to love about this version!

Yes....this could be a problem, as when you bold a hyperlink, it looks like normal bold print -- I feel it needs to be more obviously a LINK

Wow, framer!

You're a tweaker, aren't you? I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm a tweaker myself. It's just that when I tweak, I don't have 1700 or so people looking on, half of whom will be happier with the way it was before.

It's kind of disconcerting to see Grumble colors change before your very eyes. Reminds me of an ugly episode on Warped last August when frantic Grumblers were threatening to put their own eyes out with their awls.

Whatever you do, it's going to be fine with me.

I'm sorry...but I just HAD to see what the monkey looked like. Please be patient with me.
 
Colors:

  • Blue is link not visited.
    Lite green is a link that you've visited.
    Red active link ( as you click it )
    Underline on mouse over.
    Black is text.
This was done because I turned off the underline on the links except for mouse over.
