Table Height

Hello
Looking for thoughts on what is the best height for a mat cutting table. I will be the only one using it. In addition if you could steer me toward some designs, I would be thankful!

I'm only 5'2" tall and I like my mat cutting table high. So first I take it out for a few drinks. Bu-dum-dum-tss. Mine's 42" tall.

The ideal height will depend on you i.e. how tall you are and what a comfortable reach is for you.

When we built ours, we made them 34-1/2” above the floor (I’m six foot, even). That turns out to be about 5” inches below where my waist is (or used to be).

It definitely depends on your height and reach and what you find comfortable. I'm 5'2" but I like mine lower so I can reach farther. It's actually just below my hips in height. That way, if I have a bigger mat to cut, I don't have to climb up on the table to do it.
