Hey, all you suppliers (particularly you matboard-makers) lurking out there, here's a serious suggestion (plea?):
When you issue lists of discontinued items, PLEASE indicate the date when the item was discontinued, or preferrably publish a list of only items being NEWLY discontinued. As it is, we must spend hours going through specifiers and sample racks searching for items we probably pulled a year or two ago when they were originally discontinued.
Reissuing the same OLD numbers on the list with the NEW discontinueds only benefits people who haven't bothered to cull their samples in a long time. For the rest of us it creates a MAJOR waste of time.
Thank you for your attention to this.

Rick: I think this was covered about six months ago but in case it wasn't....the matboard manufacturers do publish dated lists. They come with the new products that are sent in March and September from Crescent and Bainbridge and with Tru Vue in the Feb/March time frame. If you've missed these, your distributor or regional reps can give them to you.

For you're particular situation they should be able to provide the original sheets, not just the add-ons.

John
