Who currently can supply matboard (acid-free, of course!) above the 40x60 size?

In particular, looking for a color like egg-shell custardy yellow. Similar to B8158 or A4846.

Thanks!

Rising/Legion Paper, the best you will get is a kinda soft white. Better luck covering with a fabric.

Bainbridge, Crescent and Rising all make "Jumbo" sized mats...in white/off white. Bainbridge and Crescent go up to 48" x 96" and Rising something like 60" x 105".
Color you are going to have to manage on your own (Cue Baer and the Great Fabric Wrap Scenario).

Doug, are you set up to cut a mat larger than 40x60?
You're so sharp, I'd guess that you've made sure to
think of this, but sometimes equipment can get
a bit tricky to work with beyond that size.

With this size we prefer a fabric wrap or better yet a mat liner. More support with the mat liner as well.

Pretty much just filing this information for my rolodex. I really oughta get off my toadstool and figure out this fabric wrapping stuff. Meanwhile...

Doug, are you set up to cut a mat larger than 40x60?

As a matter of fact, yes. Before I got the Wizard, we used to take apart our Fletcher 2000 and cut a long mat by slicing down the rail, then moving the guide rail up a ways and continue the slice. Indeed it worked! Sorta reminiscent of my mom's $100 Logan do-it-yourself mat cutter special that never really quite worked right. (Except this time it actually did work).

My preference is still the fabric liner. I enjoy cutting frames more than mats.
