CGF II, Certified Grumble Framer Level 2
This is not just another "come to our meeting" message (entirely
)).
You do not need to be a member of PPFA to attend Chapter meetings. Heck, the door prizes alone should bring you in
) All of the chapters are working hard for their members to help them grow their businesses. We, the collective board of all chapters, work to bring speakers and workshops at our general meetings all year. The Grumble is a great forum, but it doesn't get any better than meeting your fellow framers in person, learn new things and strike up new friendships.
Our Michigan chapter began all of our meetings in the Detroit Metro area. We needed to get the ball rolling so the first couple of years were local to Detroit. We have since expanded to other parts of the state. This past year we had our meetings in Wixom, Lansing and Traverse City. For the current year we are having our meetings in Plymouth, Grand Rapids and Traverse City. We are trying to accomodate as many members as possible and we would like to gain new members in the process. We always advertise that "Everyone is Welcome" and make sure that we have gotten flyers out to all, members and non-members.
Most all PPFA General Meetings are posted here on the Grumble. I urge you all to attend your local PPFA Chapter Meetings, participate in more than just the Grumble and you will find the rewards are worth it.
