Ohayoo mina!

A customer brought in a photo and a playbill from The Old Howard in Boston; he used to live in one of the apartments next to it and had many an adventure at the burlesque hall. We photocopied both sides of the playbill on parchment paper so that we didn't have to take apart the original -- he wanted to see both sides of the playbill without having to turn over the frame. The dancing girl cutout was designed through PathTrace, and the fans were pre-programmed in Wizard; scrapbooking mylar was used under the clip art to give it a flashy look. French Stairs were used for the windows of the photo and the playbill copy, and it was topped off with Nielsen gilded frame. Overall size is 24x24. Conservation clear glass.

Your embellishments, the frame's ornament, and the "lusty" red color give it a sort of bordello feel... and I mean that in the nicest way. Great job. I bet the customer was thrilled.

I had the day off when Walter (the customer) came in to pick it up, but according to my coworkers, he was VERY impressed.

Thank you so much! It really helps to have a super boss that lets me spread my wings and try out new things. ^_^
