My Staples is doing 2 x 3 foot poster laminations for $2.00.

Are they using a cheap laminate? Maybe I should have then do all my laminating work.

I pay a little over 30 cents per square foot for the film. They are doing it at my material cost.

What I've seen from Staples and Kinko's looks fine. Not has heavy as the Bienfang I have, but perfectly adequate for things like dorms.

Sort of depends what your purpose in laminating is.

I think the Kinko's was $5.00. $10 for dry mount. That was a 24 x 30.

I just ignore that stuff. Not much I can do about it.

Loss leader. They also are selling mini staplers for 25 cents and pencil boxes for a penny. It is "get back to school" time after all! Get the parents in to buy school supplies for the younger ones and get the college kids to buy ink cartridges while they get their dorm posters laminated.

I got five of those one-cent pencil boxes at Office Depot. They're nice. I figure at that price, I'll find a use for them. They'll come in handy for storing stuff in the supply drawers.
