Senco model J stapler.webp

I have a Senco J stapler which has fired its last staple. I used it to secure backing, mat and glass in custom picture frames. It left about 3/8" of the staple revealed, holding all materials nicely in place.

I'm looking for advice on a suitable replacement.

I'm a big fan of the Senco stapler and nail guns.
Parts are still available.
I have these...

I've been trying to get parts from a place in Oregon. No luck so far there but the search may have been revived today. I've sent some additional photos to them. I'm still hopeful.
I've worked with Tyler at Anco Fastener sales in Oregon for years in the past for parts.
This might be the same company that you have contacted.
I haven't used them for a while and I'm not sure if Tyler is there anymore or if they still have some parts.

Here is my weapon of choice and it is made right in the USA. mine was a bit heavy but almost nil recoil and 100% reliable.

Worst one I ever used was a Paslode - also American which I binned after a couple of months. The ££$"&** thing never got through a clip of staples without jamming.

It is the same place. They don't seem to have the old parts for the discontinued Senco J.

So, do you know of another place to find parts for the Senco J?

Or

Do you know of a stapler available today that can do the same job. That is, a pneumatic stapler that does not send the staples all the way into the frame but leaves about ¼" revealed, which serves to secure the backing in a picture frame.

Check EBay they have quite a few parts for the J unit.
