i am lookin for a cheater ( cardboard scale) that helps figure out square footage.... if you have ever seen an easy grader ( school) it kinda looks like that if anyone knows where i can get a footage estimator please let me know

What you are asking for is sort of obsolete. They were a staple prior to the computer age and calculators.

If you would like to create one yourself or with the assistance of a friend, use a spreadsheet to create it and then print it out. It then can be mounted to a board and placed on your work table.

Fuentes,
Welcome to the G!
I am only guessing why you want a cheat sheet but have you seen one of these?

I have a couple of these, one at the shop and one at home. It has become an important part in my tool arsenal. [I could live without it but why?]

I'm a newbie to this site, but used a calculator that was the predecessor to the calculator mentioned by Rogatory for years.I believe it was called the Contruction Master. The unit he recommends is actually more geared to general use and from the looks of things has smaller increments (1/64). It has a heavier duty case, and it costs less. You might want to buy three of them though. One for home, one for the shop, and one to go with you on jobs. The idea for a quick reference cheater is great too! Indispensible when someone calls and you're trying to give info or you just don't want to keep tapping in numbers. Isn't technology great?! Oh yeah, I believe I saw the calcualators at Home Depot. Ciao for now.
