Spray Alternative

Good Monday Morning:

Could anyone recommend a spray adhesive alternative to 3M 77, (non-toxic, and if acid free, then even better)??

I really don't like my employees to use 77 but occasionally we get something that needs such a spray.

There must be a dozen good mounting alternatives for spray adhesives, but none of them is best for everything.

Can you be more specific? What have you been mounting with spray adhesive, for which you can't find a suitable alternative?

I agree that spray adhesives are bad news; we haven't used one in over three years.

Hi Jim:

We rarely spray mount but it happens. Recently a designer brought a print with irregular edges that she wanted to be super flat and float-mounted.

That print was not old or expensive (it was treated to make it look old, I guess) and it was spray mounted.

Designer was very happy, she will bring more.
