I have regrettably decided that I need to fire one of my longest-standing suppliers due to constant (often unannounced) discontinuations, back orders, etc. I've used them for the 28 years I've been in business, and we used to use them at the shop I worked in when I was in college. They used to be a reliable supplier with a wide range of distinctive styles and good quality. Over the last couple of years they have discontinued a lot of the classics, and I haven't really liked any of their new offerings. They haven't had a rep for the midwest in a number of years. I suspect they may be having financial or other problems. Anyway, bottom line is they are no longer a reliable and useful supplier. I need some "fresh blood".
The downside is that dropping them leaves a variety of style "holes" in my board, so I'm looking for a supplier with a broad range. One I am seriously considering is Southern Moulding in Georgia. I looked at their whole catalog on line and I like what I see.
Just wondered what kind of reviews they would get from those of you who use them. Criteria I'm interested in are (no big surprise) styles, quality, service and reliability, and price/value.
Thanks for your help.
