I saw the ad in PFM for Southern Mouldings eco line of bamboo mouldings. They look really nice, and I think might be a good marketing tool for our 'eco-conscious' customers. Has anyone used these, are they as good as they look?
 
Haven't seen them yet, but a gentleman left a comment on the new line on our blog. We had a posting on "going green" and "andrew" mentioned Southern Moulding's new line. I'm assuming they'll be in Vegas?

I sold 5, 8x10's 10 days ago. The customer was thrilled with the idea and finished product.

The only drawback is that the stuff is very dense - harder than oak - and I had to change my settings of the pressure pad for the vnailer (not a serious problem).
 
Southern Moulding will be in Vegas. The bamboo is very nice looking. Have not worked with it yet.

They will also have a neat engravable metal mat product in their booth that was very well-received in Atlanta. Worth a look.
