The local store that used to mount Japanese calligraphy on rice paper to silk and then to decorative paper is not longer in business. A customer wants something like this done to something she is going to create on rice paper. Any sources?

Asian paper conservators can do the job. We have an excellent one in town here, but I would imagine there would be someone closer to you. If you run out of option I can get you in contact.

Once upon a time I remember seeing pre bordered scrolls with a blank center.

Jerome, this is a great source and may be just what my customer needs. She wants to create her own authentic looking painting, so this would be an affordable solution for her.

Thank you!

Can't help you directly, but I know that Chris Paschke can direct you to a source. I have her email address around, but I don't want to post it. Good way to get her on a lot of spammers' lists.

PM me and I can send it to you.

Thanks Dave, I'll let you know if I need the source.
