Never had one of these before so I thought that some of you guys might like to help with it. It needs to be presented in back to back frames so that both sides can be seen and probably on a small turntable.
It's about 24" long.

Wondering if it could be placed between sheets of acrylic with an acrylic sheet spacer around the rug?
I can't find it now, but there was a thread here some time back about putting small dots of something on acrylic to provide grip to stop the object from slipping down due to gravity.

Whaddayareckon???
Thanks!

It seems like a good plan to sandwich it between two sheets of acrylic, with an acrylic spacer on the perimeter. I guess the acrylic spacer be cut to press the fringe tightly, eh?

Some time ago I suggested using dots of acrylic gel or Lascaux 360 as a non-slip element in the upper corners of acrylic-sandwich-mounted documents, in order to hold those lightweight items in position between the sheets.

Whether that provision would help in this case remains to be seen. My thought is that the acrylic spacer probably would be all that is needed to retain the rug in position -- especially if it presses the fringe, which would amount to so many tiny suspension strings.

It looks to me like the back side isn't a separate image, it's just the mirror image of the other side. Plus, the colors seem much more vibrant on the front side. Is there really an interest in seeing that?

Thanks Jim.
Make the opening in the spacer sheet just a little larger than the rug itself so that it sits on the fringe threads?

Thanks Paul,
The customer does want to see the reverse and I can see why. The detail on that side is quite interesting.
