SGF, Supreme Grumble Framer
I don't know if this question belongs here, but it will definitely affect my life here.
My regular computer, my Compaq, is down because, I have a bad sector on drive ST340016A. I am diligently working on that.
Now I am using my Gateway to live on the Internet. However, it is slow because my son-in-law illegally installed Windows XP Pro. It never worked with the Internet. I decided to reinstall Windows XP Home, which I have legally.
I am not real computer literate, so I went into XP Pro to the add/delete program and deleted Pro. I thought that got rid of it. Then I installed XP Home. The computer partitioned and now I have both. Home is on a little screen and Pro is on a bigger one. So Pro must be taking up the most room. It has caused Home to be very slow. That is what aol said. They said something was using up too much room and therefore the Internet was slow.
When I look into Pro and then go back to Home it says there was a major error and it has been fixed. So Pro is affecting Home. I just do not want to lose the Grumble messing with this.
I would surely go into withdrawal. I don' want to have to handle that.
Is there a way to get rid of Pro and get my computer back to Home, easily? I have no idea why my son-in-law got rid of Home and put in Pro to begin with.
Remember, the keyword is easily or I will have to wait until I figure out My Compaq.
