I tend to be fairly conservative. I opt for the "Default".
The only skin I really dislike is the “Marvel”. Reading white type on a colored background for any length of time makes my head hurt. And my avatar on that skin has a white fringe. It doesn’t do Molly any justice.
Sosumi has too much white all around.
I kinda like the “Papers”. They remind me of themes you could get using Kaleidoscope under Mac OS 9.
Tulip is way too … girlie. And, when you mouse over a link, it disappears almost.

Sosumi is the one I use. I like all of them except for the pink one. Quite nauseating to say the least ;-)
I am not picky, except it takes a little getting used to once you change to another.

Default is the easiest for me to read without my eyes freaking out. Can you tell I read the 'Grumble way to much. DeAnne says I would be fine if I would limit my time spent here to only a few hours each day but, 'to much to learn' and 'so much fun to be had'. I love this place....

I like the look of all of them, however the 'default' is just easier on the eyes and that is what I stay with.

Default here, for all the reasons cited above....mostly because it's the easiest to read.
default now, tvb before that. easier on the eyes, more info fits on the screen.

I regret to say that I have not figured out how to change "skins" so I have not answered the poll - I don't want to mess up the results.
I spent a few minutes trying to change the first few days and then decided to stay with default and move on to other things.
I would like to see the different ones sometime tho
I also have not figured out about the icons at the left of the message - some are red some are not.... what are they all about?
One of these days I will try to figure out how to use my store front jpeg as an aviator - a la Jim Miller - but there is so much to do and so little time

From where you are reading this post, scroll down as far as you can go and you will see on the left a selection bar with a down arrow and either "default" or some other choice according to the style of template that you are using right now. OK, click on that little down arrow and you will find all the skins that are available at present. Just click on any one of them and your screen will turn into that particular "skin" and display according to the parameters of that skin. You can click on any or all of them and scroll up and down, change screens, go to any part of the Grumble and it will show you what the screen for that skin will look like. You can find that little selection bar at the bottom of any screen on the Grumble, I think.
Framer, now that you asked, I was always hooked up to Tvb until it went away. I liked it alot and now I am using the default skin only because it is there. If you added the Tvb back in and left all the others as they are it would make my day but you also have to consider the work to maintain it so I am not leaning that way unless you really want to bring it back.
It looks like Mike and I are the only ones so far that were using it to begin with.

I thought I was probably using default but as I scrolled down to check them out I was on Sosumi. Guess my computer made it the default.

I've been using Sosumi, but have now changed to 'default' and like it better.
I did like the old Tvb, but the default skin will do the job admirably!

Not sure this is the place for this comment but, how about putting all these polls and administrative threads somewhere else so they are not at the top of the forum every time you open it. They tend to be there forever. It would be nice to open the forum and have the most current thread at the top. Maybe they need to be in a Forum of their own.

I voted for paper 1 but like Sosumi better because it does not have the black edge. I tried to change it, but it said no. Oh well, default is OK.
