I am going back to the examination hall again! On 1st of June, I will sit for the CPF’test conducted by PPFA at the PMA show at Brisbane, Australia.

I have a month period to study, time passing and yet I still couldn’t find the urge and lack of `spirit’ to open my books. What is playing inside my mind is “I am busy and I have stuff to do! or I still have plenty of time to prepare; I will do it when the time comes….”

I am wondering why I don’t have the sense of panic like my high school final exam?! Am I too old to enter the examination hall again?! Am I over confident? No way! I could fell the nervous when I came to know that I have to study so many books for the test. So, I may be forgotten how little time is left and how much more there is to do for the test.

Aaahh…I have to sit down and start sometime, somewhere…have a cup of coffee ….I will do it this evening :kaffeetrinker_2:.

By the way, all the best to those who are sitting for CPF exam as well.

You’ll do fine. Get a good nights sleep, bring a #2 pencil and relax.

I don’t know if you have the time to get the materials, but on the PPFA web site, there are study guides that might help you a lot and calm you down a little. :)

just relax..

ya...I have all the reference books bought from PPFA. Thanks for your hint.
hmmnn...All the while we are questioned by the customers...is just like having test everyday, so why I take it so seriously!....this is just another questions thrown by the `customer'!
dont worry...be happy!

You are certainly not too old to do the exam. Just spend a little time each day (or night) studying the books and you will do OK.
Are you attending the classes on the friday? It would be beneficial for anyone wanting to sit the CPF exam to do those classes.

I look forward to meeting you in Brisbane!

hi!

good day!

are you giving a lecture for the Friday's class? or just attending the exhibition? I will reach Brisbane on Saturday. So, just pity that I couldnt make it on Friday class.

Yesterday, I had a customer from Brisbane. He bought a framed ceramic from me. He was so excited to hear that I am heading to Brisbane and sit for an exam! He was wondering why I travel so far away just to sit for an exam. He said `what? a frame maker exam? Is it very important? at which college?'. Why should frame maker need to pass the exam?"
And I explained to him why I want to sit for the test and......etc....
as what I have told my father in law before.

Before he left, he told me most of framing shops in Brisbane are making good money! So, he asked me to continue my good work and wish my shop will do as good as those in Brisbane!!:D

It is a pity you can't be there for the friday classes. I'm sure it would help you with the exam.
I will be at the show on friday to teach one segment and might be helping to supervise the exam on sunday.

I look forward to meeting you!

Good fortune

Wishing you good fortune on your exam and in your business.
Best wishes from Minnesota, USA

Friday class

Ormand,

just to check with you what is a Friday class for? Is it a pre test briefing? If it is important for us, I wonder why the PMAI Australia never inform me about this class on Friday.I think I could change my flight to Friday or Thursday if it is neccessary. Until now, I have not receive any event's leaflet or program for the show although I had registered for the test and also bought the ticket to enter the show.

I was slightly nervous when I took my exam, then I opened the booklet and saw that I knew the answers to most of the questions, and the ones I didn't;t know were common sense. From reading your posts, you seem to be knowledgeable about framing, so relax, don;t forget to breathe, bring a couple of extra pencils and you'll do fine!
