Sintra board in Australia

Hi All.

Aside from picture framing, I also do all my own Acrylic face mounting using the GBC Falcon F60 laminator and I am looking for a cost effective easy to handle product to back the acylic with to protect the image. Currently I am using 2mm dibond.

Sintra looks like a great product but appears to be only available in Australia. Is this correct. I cant seam to find any Australian reference to use or suppliers.

Looks like a great product to mount too as well.

I'm a bit confused by the above, but I'm guessing it's a typo.

Try Mulford Plastics. Sintra is not listed on their site, but I'm sure I have a sample of a product from them that is very similar. They may have other products that would do the job for you!
 
You may find that Lexan is a good alternative. Sinatra is a brand name. There are other manufacturers who make sheet PVC (which is what Sintra is).
 
osgood the spelling is correct, it is just a US brand name by the looks of things... the product is Foam PVC. I did a bit more digging around after Rod mentioned Lexan.

Found a few local Sydney suppliers, now it just comes down to cost.

I wasn't referring to spelling. It was what you said that confused me, but I now get what you meant!
