I was all set to buy a shrink wrapper to shrink wrap some pre-cut mats, etc. I talked with one my suppliers for some information about them. I was told they were a big pain in the neck (or a bit lower). Are they a good investment, or are they more trouble than they're worth?

They are a big pain in the neck. I use the Clear Bags for the most part and only use the shrink wrap for oversize or weird sizes.

Clear bags? Kind of like a zip lock bag?

They are "acid free", have two different placements for the adhesive strip which makes one type "protective closure". AND they have tiny to huge sizes.

I don't use shrink wrap because it's my understanding that the fumes given off are carcinogenic. Same reason I don't smoke (ooops, an E.C. = editorial comment). Only because I care do I mention such!! It's my valentines gift - it comes from the heart....truly!
