As in, printing shipping labels using your account discounts? And receiving quotes for a package from all 3 and allowing you to choose?

ShipStation.com a Stamps.com company

We use it to download all our ecommerce orders. Their insurance rates are less expensive than others.

Very good, thank you. Now I need to understand what to charge for packing. How do you deal with that? It's difficult to estimate amount of time and material it
takes, for a cardboard box is simple but if its crating?

It takes time but build a history. Keep a spreadsheet of each shipment. In the spreadsheet keep costs for all your packing materials and labor and allocate them for each shipment. Over time you will have a history to price against.

I use shiprush.com and Stamps.com
both allow you to copy the full address and paste it in one step, most others you have to fill out each field separately using multiple steps.

When I build a crate, I figure twice the cost of the materials and then estimate about 2 or 3 hours at whatever your hourly rate is.

Tho it usually takes me about 2 hours to build and pack a crate, I add an extra hour to cover the calculations of how big the crate will be, time spent either ordering materials or going out and actually getting the stuff myself, and plus time spent with customer.

At one point, I was not wanting to build crates so I kept bumping the price higher and higher. Didn't work! They still went with it!
