Sheepskin mounting

Judging from the three new topics you started, sounds like you've got an interesting project in your shop.

I don't have anything helpful to add except sympathy. I've done one or two of those giant Texas sheepskins - each one requires an entire sheep.

I worked in a shop once that shall remain nameless. Someone brought in a rolled 1919 sheepskin diploma from Harvard. The boss decided to wet it and put it in the drymount press under heat...... Don't do this! Opening the press revealed not a flat diploma, but a wet mass of gelatinous goo....
