CGF II, Certified Grumble Framer Level 2
Hi Everyone,
I started manufacturing weight bags for my own use when I was in need for them to hold down rolled up prints or put on mounting hinges. I've been selling them on eBay for about a year now and wanted to share the link on The Grumble since I'm sure they could be of use to other framers. These weight bags come in sets of 4 and are made from a soft, yet very durable cotton fabric, and are each filled with 1/2 lb of stainless steel shot. No sharp corners that could potentially damage artwork. I know any weight will do with a piece of rag board beneath it, but I always worry less with these. Also, wanted your opinion...should I stick with the 1/2 lbs bags, or also offer 1 lb bags for our trade?
