Price check..it is coming out rather pricey in Lifesaver...
anyone do this and ballpark price...I have never taken in all 5 panels at once...YIKES!!
All 5 panels cc glass, spacers and a cross stitch stretch...has the frame from Serendipity all ready...

22.5 by 12.125 times 2= $57 each
18 by 27.5=$76.25
9.25 by 14.75 times 2=$50.81

cc glass, spacers, x-stitch stretch, plus education fee(natch, I always do now, thank you grumblers!);)

And here's pic of what I am talking about.

You have to cut the glass to those shapes? I would use acrylic!

So... the frames are already assembled?

You are just stretching, spacing, consv glass, and assembly?
If so, I'm about twice what you are listing without any edumacation fee.

RandyPants they are rectangles with a corner cut off....not hard. Have done before.

Whoopie Ralph, yes, yes and really?
The frame is from the maker of the chart, Serendipity Designs...They are just Hex angels at the corners and pin hinged for assembly of the five pieces...I think it is about $300 (or more) for the frame from them...It has been awhile since I have had to order one. Incidentally, several of these mitres will require repairing as they aren't too hot. Thank you EZ Fix and Fill.
$5 is my edumake-me smarter fee!

I would do the glass...but build in extra time/waste factor...
I charged for the job as if they were rectangles, not accounting for the corners off.
I just hand cut the glass and the mount boards for the hex sides.

The job came up to like $320...
It's just I know what the supplies and the linen and the Kreinik threads are for this job alone...Zowwy, beside the OBVIOUS, ton of work, there is 500-600 in this already before my framing....

I queried you guys whilst I was writing up the job, and she didn't bat an eye!
So, here's one for the record I suppose.

Just curious, are the frames deep enough to hold everything, including the glass with spacers? I'd be surprised if they thought that far ahead.

Yup, I have done them before, Serendipity makes them specially for these needlework pieces, and I always glaze them and spacer them.;)
