In 1909, Seattle Fire Department established Fire House #21 in the Greenwood district.
In the 1950s, they tore down the Victorian, and built a modern building. Now
they have torn that down and in February of 2012, they will unveil the new facility.

Back in the day, each of the stations had a banner that hung on their trucks.
The modern ones hung them on the front above the grill, or on the backs.
The Seattle Department in their infinite wisdom, demanded that they be no
longer used. Only the "Seattle Fire Dept" and the Engine number will be
displayed.

So . . what to do with the banners.

So, the guys at 21, brought it across the street with a budget of $200. . .

So, I think they will be getting a surprise. The girls at Avante art, are also passing the boot, so it's not about them, but about the business community. When ever it comes up to, is fine by me... the lumber cost was $4.25. Giving back to the community and neighborhood where my Masonic Lodge is located - - priceless.

Yeah? Wait 'til they start bringing all sorts of stuff for you to frame for $200... or a lot less, because that $200 job was pretty hard, so this job prolly won't run more than $50, right? Naturally, I am joking, but you may be prudent to tell them that retail for this job would be $1,234 but you are giving it to them in a spirit of community.

And, man! that's niiiiice!

Sadly Ellen, you may have been right..... but I just had to break down and use the "expensive" wax this morning... $1,236.

but seriously, it would be closer to $3,710 ($225/ft) for the frame; which
is 33.25" x 39.5"

Fabric mat, float mount, and fitting with OP3 would come to an additional $280.

Optimum would drive it an additional $1,200.

The Aussie's are right.... the most expensive thing about framing is the glass. :p
